Honey Mustard Shark Steaks in Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs shark steaks
  • 6 cups cabbage
  • 2 cups green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 4 tbsp Ideal Protein Honey & Dijon Dressing
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Remove 8 big leaves of cabbage and blanch in salted, boiling water.
  2. Chop the remaining cabbage.
  3. Mix dressing with mustard.
  4. Marinate fish in this preparation for 1 hour.
  5. Sauté 1 cup of green onions in olive oil.
  6. Add chopped cabbage and thyme.
  7. Cook slowly.
  8. When tender, add 1/2 cup of water and transfer to a baking dish.
  9. Add shark to cabbage and continue cooking basting shark with mustard and dressing marinade.
  10. Cover and simmer in a 350-degree oven until completely cooked (30 to 40 minutes).
  11. Top blanched cabbage leaves with half of the cabbage and shark preparation.
  12. Add the other cup of green onions.
  13. Wrap cabbage leaves to completely cover the fish.
  14. Baste with olive oil and cook in a 350-degree oven for 15 minutes.
